Hello and thank you for taking the time to read a quick little overview of who I am. My name is Eric Gibson also known as ericbdrawin. Read as ericbedrawin, as in Eric is drawing, the name came about as a fun Instagram handle a few years back and decided to keep it for this website/store because it is fun and I think there is a place of fun in Art.
Despite the name though I have had a tendency to forgo the drawing and instead paint in watercolor, acrylic, and pastels. That being said I am still dabbling in other mediums, as well as mixing them in mixed media pieces and as with the subject matters that captivate me are subject to changing.
Socal raised with roots in the Inland Empire and North San Diego county. As well as a few roots in the Central Ohio Columbus area and the West Coast of Washington between Tacoma to Bellingham. Although short lived in both places outside of Socal, they both left a huge impression on me.
A mixture of self taught through books and Youtube videos, mainly Shibasaki and Art Prof, as well as some academic classes through MSJC and CSCC.
